Can a Synod on Synodality ultimately set the Catholic Church free from gender disparity? The latest issue of Theresian is an enquiry into this question which is as such not a new question but an updation of past questions that have been overlooked over centuries. Five Theology Students from Vidya Jyoti College – Delhi, under the guidance of their professor Shalini Mulackal PBVM have undertaken a meticulous study on the role of women in the life and mission of the Church and brought out a scholarly and scientific output on the same. Theresian is indeed privileged to have them brought to light and give its readers an engaging and enriching reading experience. We whole-heartedly thank and congratulate Sr. Shalini and her students for this prophetic piece of study and throwing down the gauntlet to serious synodal discussions.
